Robert Linwood Hall passed away on the evening of November 16th  2022 with his daughter, Jessica Lashmit, by his side.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his children Rebecca Lynn Hall, Robert Dale Hall, Michael James Hall, Jessica Lee Lashmit, Amanda Star Hall, and Christy Linn Hall; his grandchildren Layla and Lennox Hall and Emory Lashmit; his siblings Cress, Shelton, Minnie, Bruce, and Billy-Ray Hall and their children. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Bobby Hall and son, Robert (Bo) Ray Stallings.

Robert was born in Bailey, North Carolina on May 25th, 1946. He developed a strong talent for repairing and rebuilding old cars and serviced as a regular mechanic. He became the go-to man for auto repairs in his small town. Whilst Robert never played sports growing up, he was quite the sports fanatic—so much so that he gave one of his daughters the middle name Star after the All-Star game. Robert shared his love of boxing with his youngest daughter and that became part of the reason she pursued a career as a Mixed Martial Artist for some time.

Robert's services will be held Saturday, December 3 rd , 2022 at Hood Memorial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 300 E. Cumberland St. Dunn, NC 28334. Visitation will be at 12:30pm followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm.
