Nancy Marie Hansen, 66, passed away on June 19, 2020.

Born Nancy Marie Peterson born June 6th 1954 in Omaha Nebraska. She was one of six children born to Elise and Robert "Bob" Peterson. She was the first girl of her family.

She left home when she was 17 and married John Hansen on February 8th, 1975. She had her first son, John Hansen II when she was 26. In 1980 they moved to Orlando Florida where she had her daughter Grace Layaou. Nancy loved her family and was the definition of hard work and independence. She loved to cook and watch football... Go Packers! She always put the needs of others ahead of her self. We will always remember her for her sense of humor, her amazing food and beautiful smile. She will be missed but never forgotten. She passed away on June 19th at home with her family in Angier North Carolina. She is survived by her two children and five grandchildren, Julianna, Lilly, Micah, Abel and Ryleigh.
