Janet Rose Hubbard passed peacefully the night of August 10, 2023 surrounded by her entire family and best friends.

As a young girl, Janet wanted to work in health care, helping people. She found her lifelong career at IGHL as a direct care counselor. She dedicated years of her life providing the residents of IGHL Manorville with love and support. Those with memories of knocking on Janet's front door will remember dogs barking, coffee brewing, lots of love, and lots of plants. The first person to give her last dollar, a meal, or a safe place to stay, Janet was one of the most generous souls to walk this earth.

Janet is survived by her eldest daughter, Marie and her husband, Mike Colello; her son George Jr.; and her son, Jason and his wife Sandie. Janet leaves behind six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and her two dogs, Daisy and Rusty, who will all miss her dearly. Janet was welcomed to Heaven by her loving daughter, Eileen, her sister, Cindy, her brother Roger Jr., and parents, Roger Sr. and Nancy Shore.

A celebration of Janet's life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023 at The Colello Residence. In lieu of sympathy florals, please give some flowers to a friend in need.
