In Loving Memory of Corey Collin Childres:

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Corey Childres at the age of 33. He was a beloved member of our family, known for his kindness, infectious laughter, and unwavering spirit.

Corey was born in Orange County, California and grew up in Garden Grove and Chino Hills, CA.  He was a brother, son, Grandson, nephew, cousin, a wonderful husband, and a great friend to all.

He married his beautiful wife, Ceshele Childres, in a beach wedding on the coast of North Carolina.  He loved walking on the beach and date nights with his wife.   His passions were helping other people, animals, fishing and camping.   Corey was very protective over everyone he knew.   His number one priority was to make sure that his loved ones were taken care of and safe.  Even if he was miles apart, he would always be close to you at heart.   Corey is survived by his wife Ceshele; his mother, Tina Childres and father, Andy Childres; big sister, Jessica Childres; younger brother,  Gaston Childres; his mother-in-law, Shirley Turlington; sister-in-law Christy Jaylen; and his grandparents, Sharon and William Craig and June and Jim Sardella.  He is also survived by his uncles, Raymond and Billy Craig; uncle, David Sydow;  aunts, Penny Craig and Lori Sydow; cousins, Judy Kading, Melissa Ann Craig, Joseph, Daniel, Michael ,Catlin and Emily.

Although his time with us was far too brief his impact will be everlasting.   He is now in heaven with his grandparents, Sharon and William Craig, Joe Childres and his uncle Billy Craig.

Rest in peace, our dearest Corey.   You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
