It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice Lee Prince, 89 years old, from Fuquay-Varina, on December 23, 2024.  Bernice will always be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 70 years, Phyllis Evans Prince; his two children, Vickie Prince Bridgers Biegel and husband Alan V.A. Biegel, and Timothy Lee Prince and wife Amanda Ford Prince; his nine grandchildren, Lincoln Bridgers, Melanie Bridgers Nuszkowski, David Prince, Mitchell Prince, Morgan Prince Gilbert, Shelley Prince, and Kelley Prince Gilfillan, Delaney Grauer, and Colin Grauer; his 7 great grandchildren, Chase Bridgers, Elizabeth Brickhouse, Drake Prince, Corey Turner, Myles Turner, Hudson Gilbert, and Savannah Gilbert; and his two sisters, Mary Joyce Prince Post, and Donna Gail Prince.

Bernice was proceeded in death by his parents Allene Campbell Prince and Charlie Lee Prince, and his two brothers, Clarence Prince and Linwood Prince.

A celebration for Bernice will be held on January 5, 2025 at 2PM at Piney Grove Baptist Church at 3217 Piney Grove-Wilbon Rd., Fuquay-Varina. Bernice was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was also one of the last great outdoorsmen. Bernice requested cremation and that his ashes be scattered by his son and grandsons at his number one deer stand.
