The light that flickers

Through the leaves

As the wind blows

The light that warms my face

When I'm outside

With my hands in the dirt

I feel her in the light

Of the furnace by her chair

As it casts dancing shadows

All around her living room

I feel her in the light

On the sunny days

When the prism on my window

Throws rainbows around me like a blanket

She is light to me now

She is the warming sun

She is the rainbow of promise

She is the moon and the stars

Above me as I sleep

And dream of her

Sometimes when she seems

So far away from me

That's when the clouds part

And she's right there

With me again

Alma will never be forgotten by lives she touched.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She loved the feel of sand between her toes and the sun on her face.

She could always make you laugh and feel loved.

She was an amazing cook and she expressed her love through meals she prepared with great care.
